Thirty scientists and clinicians for muscular diseases presented and discussed their most recent research results, ongoing and planned clinical trials, up-to-date medical management methods, and registration. |

These are words of belief, relied on by our Muscular Dystrophy Association India. Planted in early 2000, we have blossomed comfort for a large cohort of Muscular Dystrophy community. And of course we have diagnosis and researches done to ease the hold of the disease. With able support from more like minds, things would prove ever positive. |

The following article appeared in "The Hindu" dated 07th of September 2006.
At some point during the half-day outing children with muscular dystrophy had at Mayajaal on East Coast Road, they were meant to release the colourful balloons tied on to their wrists. When the cue came, though, some of them fiercely held on to the balloons, quite out of habit perhaps, as they hold on to the fun and frolic despite rapidly dying muscles.
